2LIFE – Second Life Plastic Products
Fisc is even greener and presents its new 2LIFE range of Second Life Plastic products.
This new series of siphons, drains and outlets are made with recycled plastic components and certified as Second Life Plastic.
Fisc, a company that has always been attentive to the use of technologies and materials that are useful for improving quality and respecting the environment, has made a concrete commitment to create a product that best respects the environment and has become, today, the first company in Italy to obtain the “Plastic Second Life” Environmental Certification in the plumbing items sector.
In this age when environmental protection is an imperative global need, turning waste into resources becomes a priority. Driven by this focus, we at FISC decided to be an active company within the GREEN PURCHASING & CIRCULAR ECONOMY and turned an idea into 2LIFE: a line of high-quality, high-performance products made from certified recycled plastic.
For this first series of products, we made recycled plastic traps, drains, and outlets with at least 70 percent material from certified industrial recycling that would otherwise be destined for landfill. Each product is specially designed to minimize environmental impact, without ever penalizing thehigh quality standard, design, and market trends that FISC knows well and wants to satisfy.
In 2022 we obtained, FIRST in Italy in the field of plumbing items, the “,Plastic Second Life” CERTIFICATION from the IPPR institute.
IPPR was the first in Italy and Europe to create this “eco-label” for recycled plastic materials and products. The purpose is to certify materials and manufactured goods obtained from the valorization of plastic waste while introducing two very important concepts: quality and traceability of recycled materials.
The “,Plastics Second Life” label has the important mission of promoting and communicating recycled content to highlight the great potential of plastics in realizing the circular economy.
In 2022, the first step of our certification journey. First in Italy in the plumbing items sector, we have obtained PSV certification from INDUSTRIAL WASTE for materials and products derived from industrial waste in the minimum percentage of 70%.
In November 2024, we doubled! We also obtained PSV certification for recycled material from DIFFERENTIATED COLLECTION for materials and products from polymers derived from separate collection in the minimum percentage of 70%.
PSV “Plastics Second Life” is an Environmental Product Certification system dedicated to materials and manufactured goods obtained from the valorization of plastic waste, which introduces the concept of quality and traceability of plastics and materials to be recycled. “PSV – Plastics Second Life” certification was created precisely with this intent: to promote and regulate the concept of quality, traceability and valorization of industrial plastic waste and recycled materials.
Through the 2LIFE series, we at FISC are the first company in Italy, in the plumbing industry, to have the “Plastic Second Life” Environmental Certification, and we wish to raise awareness among all users of our products so that they can offer sustainable cooking to end users and contribute consciously to environmental improvement.
